Summer Celebration

The Brief:
A City based educational organisation understood the importance of sharing company news and showing appreciation to their staff. By throwing a fabulous Summer Party they could achieve both objectives. 800 people would be expected to attend.

Our Solution:
The venue was the beautiful Summer Garden at the HAC, set in the stunning five and a half acres of manicured lawns in the heart of the City. On arrival guests were guided through the dramatic entrance into the impressive reception space where guests enjoyed a selection of hot and cold drinks beneath beautiful stylised drapes, on relaxed and comfortable seating until they were called through to the main stage.
Walking from the reception area to the main event guests were offered informal cabaret seating amongst the impressive themed décor. The main stage, back lit for dramatic effect and flanked by two large presentation screens provided the ideal platform for the company presentations and bespoke lighting designs and gobos enhanced the atmosphere and built the anticipation.  

After the presentations guests were encouraged to make their way outside to the manicured lawns where they were met by a trayed drinks reception. Guests were entertained with giant garden games, costumed entertainers, and most impressive of all the fun fair including dodgems, the big wheel, a carousel and side stall.

It wasn’t long before the main stage opened up again, this time having been transformed into a summer party zone full of relaxed and intimate seating areas; guests could try their luck on the casino tables, amuse themselves with the state of the art computer consoles games, or dance the night away to a top DJ and Disco.

An unlimited drinks package ensured the guests were never left wanting and a mouth watering BBQ rounded off a true summer celebration.
